Motor protection technology
On the basis of our many years of experience, we have become a competent partner in all areas of motor protection technology. Irrespective of whether automatic or manual star-delta changeover or standard motor protection switch or reversing switch, we can provide a user friendly and cost-effective solution for every application.
For decades, motor protection switches produced in Switzerland have been characterised by their robustness and durability even under the most unfavourable ambient conditions.
Type 40
The type 40 is a motor protection switch with automatic star-delta changeover. The switching element is available in 6 various nominal power ranges from 6A to 43A. It can be easily inserted and screwed tight without loosening the connections in the splash waterproof aluminium die-cast housing. The extremely robust lightweight metal housing is perfectly suited for heavy-duty applications.
The motor protection switch is characterised by its very simple operation:

The switch handle is rotated from position 0 to position I; the motor starts up in a star position and then automatically switches to the delta position after the set start-up time (3-30 s).
The switch is also available with integrated undervoltage trigger or with external triggering for a Clickson thermostat or emergency stop button. The high quality often means that repair works are more cost-effective than complete replacement. That is why we provide a cost-effective repair service for this product.
Application examples are e.g. stirring units in agriculture, manure pumps, submersible pumps, or hay blowers.
TP 10
The motor protection switch TP10 is characterised by its diversity and is available in many different versions:
- TP10 standard design on/off
- TDP10 reversing switch for change of direction of rotation
- TWP10 for motors with 2 separate windings for 2 rpms. In this version, one of the two windings is protected against overload and short circuit.
- TP10 pulse design
All designs are available in sturdy installed housings and surface-mounting housings. Application examples are planing machines, machines for Mister Minit, sawing machines and conveyor belts.
Circuits produced according to customer requirements
In order to cover the complete range of motor protection technology, we also provide conventionally built star-delta manual circuits. If the customer submits a request, we can then make manual star-delta circuits with motor protection in the housing. Reversible circuits are also within our scope of expertise. Depending on the requirement, we also construct accessories such as signal lamps, auxiliary contacts, undervoltage triggers and more.
